We're absolutely thrilled to share this dream wedding of Anarkalli & Dishan. There such a fun and amazing couple to work with. Anarkalli is a 2004 Miss Sri Lanka, actress and model. Surrounded by their 500+ guests she looked like a queen no less. Their wedding video went live on Sri Lanka news and i could not be more excited to share it with everyone on our blog. Enjoy!
Traveling is fun. Traveling for weddings is double fun! Yun Yun and Wallace chose the Hately Castle in Victoria BC... also famous as professor Xavier's School (X-men). In one word, it's amazing!
My borther Joseph was doing the photography, some of the photos here.
We really get excited about destination weddings. All of the new sights, new people, new wedding customs, and new venues, are food (dessert and a cocktail!) for our senses. It’s just great adventure and we can’t get enough of it.
And it was especially so for such a colorful, fun, and festive wedding like Linet and Oliver’s in L.A. To say they are a fun, energetic, and loving couple is more than an understatement. Even the priest commented—during the ceremony!-- that Linet said, “Yes!” louder than any bride he’s ever married. Indeed, she was clearly heard and the response was a round of applause from the full church.
The reception was fun-filled with new experiences for us. The traditional drum and horn, the “bribe” for the bride, and the basket of flowers carried above the head were part of the happy and spirited reception. Congratulations to a wonderful couple and thanks so much for letting us be there.
