Destination Wedding Lanai, Hawaii

This is long overdue, we actually shot this wedding back in November 2011... but i finally found the time to post about this amazing destinatin wedding from Lanai.

Lanai Island is one of the smallest and most exotic Islands in Hawaii (btw, Bill Gates married Melinda French at the exact venue) and has only two hotels (both Four Seasons) and that's pretty much it. In order to get there, we had to fly cessna.

The wedding was a 3 day event and i wish i could show everything from this wedding, but it would have to be an hour long video.

Shooting in the rain is challenging. Add strong wind to that and it becomes... hmm, interesting...

Jacqie and David were debating weather to have the ceremony indoors or outdoors. They chose outdoors and i'm glad they did, this was indeed an interesting experience for all of us, and made the wedding unforgettable.

St. Regis hotel wedding

One of the most exciting weddings we've had the pleasure to film and photograph with my brother Joseph (IQphoto.com), photos here.

The wedding was held at the amazing St. Regis hotel in San Francisco.

With so much excitement and love, details and great moments, we were shooting non stop for 12 hours. And there were 3 of us :)

At the end of the night we showed their Love Story video + SDE.

Destination wedding victoria BC - hatley castle wedding

Traveling is fun. Traveling for weddings is double fun! Yun Yun and Wallace chose the Hately Castle in Victoria BC... also famous as professor Xavier's School (X-men). In one word, it's amazing!

Carmel Valley Ranch wedding Trang & Dan

About eight miles up Carmel Valley Road you can smell the lavender that grows abundantly at the Carmel Valley Ranch. In this spectacular, secluded spot, Trang and Daniel exchanged their heartfelt vows. Dan is the Manager of the property so Trang and Dan knew it well. They were as sure that this was exactly the right place for their gorgeous garden wedding as they were about their love for each other. I loved working with this terrific couple not to mention the chance to be at the sumptuous Carmel Valley Ranch--surrounded by every luxury and set amidst the natural beauty of the Carmel Valley.

Nestldown Wedding - Joanne & James

When the entertainments for what first appears to be a pretty formal wedding includes the bride scooting an egg up the leg of the groom’s trousers, you know that this couple has it all together. And the guests fell right in with the wonderful combination of the levity as well as the earnestness of the first moments of a marriage.

They gave each other wedding day gifts that would make them laugh. S & P salt and pepper shakers. I wonder who is salt and who is pepper? Joanne laughed and laughed.

With so much laughter and action going on, I hardly even had to work. With the festivities 360 degrees around me, I was spinning to catch it all. These wonderful people made my work a joy.

It takes a big venue to hold this sort of a love story, the hijinks, the joy, the sheer amazingness of it all, and the huge redwood trees at Nestledown and the sheer lushness of this stunning spot cradled this super wonderful wedding beautifully.

B R Cohn Winery Wedding Jill & Riley

Jill and Riley chose B.R. Cohn Winery as their wedding venue. The place is amazing, the colors, the scenery. They couldn't have chosen a better place.

Arista Winery Wedding - Katherine & Anson

Katherine and Anson chose the perfect setting for their wedding - a beutiful winery in the Sonoma County - Arista Winery. This was my first time filming there and i fell in love with this venue right away. The magical hour light and vines make such a great scenery.

Of course i fell in love with the couple first. They were so energetic and fun throughout the day... It was a great pleasure their wedding. Thanks Katherine & Anson for having us.
